A collection of paintings born from a single vase of tulips, reimagined through imagination and personal style.
Butterflies and flowers appear in them without realistic proportions, because as I’ve said before, I’m not trying to represent the world as it is, I just want to create.
Since I was a child, I would spend hours drawing, always adding long eyelashes. It wasn’t something I thought about much—I simply repeated it over and over, as if I needed to. Today, those gestures remain in my work, not out of habit, but because that’s how I draw. And I’ve found a reason for them to be there.
