About
Casa Hermila exists to celebrate art in all its forms — visual, literary, and handcrafted. The studio explores illustration, storytelling, design, and small batch creative products.
We believe art should feel intimate, intentional, and rooted in culture. Every piece carries the warmth of a story and the spirit of curiosity.

About the Artist: Hada Pérez is a Mexican American visual artist whose work blends magical realism, impressionism, and the emotional textures of memory. With a background in industrial engineering and a partial education in graphic design, she approaches art with both intuition and structure — a balance that shapes her evolving style.
Self taught and deeply curious, Hada works with acrylic, soft pastels, pencil, ink, and digital illustration. Her art draws from desert landscapes, old towns, and the rich visual language of Mexican folklore. Her paintings have been exhibited in Austin, Texas, and internationally in London
Artist Statement “My art isn’t meant to be perfect. Each brushstroke, each color, each shape finds its place not through logic, but through necessity. Not every form needs a story; sometimes I simply need it there. This is how I organize what I carry inside — something truly mine.”
