COURAGE
This painting is Inspired in the women of our ancestors. I imagined her walking through the temples and markets. A woman born of nobility, a woman who knows how to interpret the omens, she does not whisper, she speaks out loud. With this idea,I started painting her.
While I was painting, I surprised myself by stopping in his gaze, it was what caught me the most. Her deep and resolute gaze inspires me to think on her inner strength. Her face, simple and serene, gives me the impression that she knows what merit is, that she understands the power of wisdom and what she can accomplish.

At first, I wanted to emphasize her jewelry, necklaces, and embroidery, but when I looked into her eyes, the connection was immediate. For me they say a lot: strength, value, courage. She is part of a legacy of traditions.
She is not defined by the symbols that surround her; she “is” the symbol. A reminder of the women who shaped our histories, who held families and communities together thanks to their intuition, clarity, and courage.

Esta pintura se inspira en las mujeres de nuestros antepasados. La imaginé caminando por los templos y los mercados. Una mujer nacida en la nobleza, una mujer que sabe interpretar los presagios; ella no susurra, habla en voz alta. Con esta idea en mente, comencé a pintarla.
Mientras pintaba, me sorprendí deteniendome en su mirada; fue lo que más me cautivó. Su mirada profunda y decidida me inspira a reflexionar sobre su fortaleza interior. Su rostro, sencillo y sereno, me da la impresión de que ella sabe lo que es el mérito, de que comprende el poder de la sabiduría y todo lo que es capaz de lograr.
Al principio, quise dar protagonismo a sus joyas, sus collares y sus bordados; pero, al mirar a sus ojos, la conexión fue inmediata. Para mí, esos ojos dicen mucho: fuerza, valor, coraje. Ella forma parte de un legado de tradiciones.
Ella no se define por los símbolos que la rodean; ella “es” el símbolo. Un recordatorio de las mujeres que forjaron nuestra historia, que mantuvieron unidas a familias y comunidades gracias a su intuición, su lucidez y su valentía.
